How to install Leafpad - Linux

Leafpad is an open source text editor for Linux, BSD, and Maemo. Created with the focus of being a lightweight text editor with minimal dependencies, it is designed to be simple and easy-to-compile. Leafpad is the default text editor for LXDE Desktop environment, including Lubuntu up to version 18.04 LTS


Detailed Instructions:
  1. Run update command to update package repositories and get latest package information.
  2. Run the install command with -y flag to quickly install the packages and dependencies. sudo apt-get install -y leafpad.
  3. Check the system logs to confirm that there are no related errors.
